For the tinplate price results, firstly the mean average and standard deviation of the entire price data sample is calculated of each of the specified tinplate thickness recollected.

Secondly, the highest and lowest price points submitted are excluded from the sample.

Any other price points beyond +/- 1.5 times the standard deviation from the average price are also excluded from the sample.

The maximum volume weighting of any individual price data point in the remaining sample is then limited to two-thirds of the remaining total.
